Everything Home was founded in 2014 by Wendy Langston. From 2000-2014 Wendy co-founded and operated luxury home construction businesses with her husband Jeff. Over the years she honed her unique style and ignited a passion for designing not just spaces but amazing sanctuaries for living. Blossoming from client demand, she identified a need for a boutique interior design firm to custom style completed builds and beyond.
Today, Everything Home includes a staff of 5 interior designers and 1 support staff. We specialize in delivering luxurious yet livable custom interior design through our signature Satisfaction by Design process.
Our portfolio proudly includes 5 Homearama homes, 10 luxury model homes, and several industry favorite awards.
At Everything Home, we are passionate about designing spaces that feel as beautiful as they look. Luxury meets livable is our specialty. True to our motto, “Happy Home. Happy Life”— we get to know each client’s tastes, lifestyle, and personality to create spaces that feel uniquely home sweet home.
Our eclectic design team provides a valuable experience with their subject knowledge, refined eye, trade resources, and transparent guidance moving projects seamlessly from start-to-finish.
We are proud to deliver transformative interior design projects that are on time, on budget, and always beautiful using our flexible and fun, Satisfaction by Design process.
We are your design dream team.
Amanda has been working under Wendy since 2011, when Everything Home first came to be. She began her design journey as an intern with Heartwood Custom Homes & Everything Home while completing her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at Ball State University. Following graduation, she became Wendy’s design assistant, her right hand gal, and has now become a full time designer on staff.
She has a keen eye for space planning and defining room arrangements that work just right—because who are we kidding—functionality is just as important as aesthetic. Her designs often reflect blending old treasures with new trends–as there is nothing like bringing new life to things from our past. She tends to gravitate towards soft, natural, neutral palettes and enjoys adding splashes of unexpected color in room accents. Additionally, Amanda has an absolute love for textiles and wall coverings —their patterns, textures, and handing, often add that finishing layer to the room.
Theresa Sherley has been in the interior design industry for over 17 years. Theresa’s passion started at an early age growing up in a century old home with lots of detail. Theresa has developed a keen eye for creating awe-inspiring surroundings. Theresa is also adept in finding creative ways to help budget-conscious clients design their dream spaces.
In her spare time she enjoys camping in her vintage Airstream camper, or driving around in her vintage VW beetle.
Lori brings a wealth of experience through her diverse design background. She has worked successfully in all aspects of the business — including manufacturers rep, buyer and merchandiser for a large Indianapolis family owned furnishings & decor retailer and more recently at Artichoke Design Firm and her own independent design firm.
She has a proven record for creating lasting client relationships and wonderfully designed spaces. Lori is a long term resident of the Westfield/Carmel area having worked and raised her family here.
Ellen Firn has 15 years of experience in the design industry, including with several of the top design/build companies in the Midwest. She loves combining built-in elements with soft goods and textiles. Her expertise is in translating her client’s preferences into inspired, well-thought-out designs. She wants her clients to know that working with a designer can be a fun and easy experience.
In her spare time, she enjoys hospitality, spending time with her family, as well as playing sports and getting out in nature.
Amy began her design journey as an intern at Everything Home while completing her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at The Art Institute of Indianapolis in June of 2016. Following graduation, she joined the Everything Home team as an Assistant Designer.
While Amy is a recent graduate, she contributes daily to the team by bringing about newly innovated, modern and classic designs with a fresh pair of eyes and passion for design.
Amy keeps the office running smoothly with her operations, sales and customer service background. Her attention to detail, genuine helpfulness and inspiring the Everything Home team spirit are wonderful additions to our studio.
To feed her creativity, she usually has some sort of craft or home project that she is working on. Nature and texture are her biggest inspirations when it comes to interior design and is usually influenced with a bit of farmhouse fashion true to her country-raised roots. Her ideal travel destination is Europe because of her love of the gorgeous architecture. She is looking forward to traveling there again someday.
She enjoys free time with her husband and daughters, browsing through local nurseries and trying new restaurants and wineries.
